I've made a list of parts depending on what kind of performance you're looking for.

1080p Medium to High @60fps
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HrnrsJ
1080p High to Ultra @60fps or 1440p @30 fps
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d3vczM
1440p High to Ultra @60fps or 1080 @144fps
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PYtbzM
2160(4k) High to Ultra @30+fps
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gcrXqk
2160 Ultra @60fps
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rczR9W

It should be noted that this is a general guide and depending on what you would like from your computer the list may change completely. I included some semi premium parts in the lower prices builds because they give you room for expansion in the future.

Question#1
Is it worth turning my store-bought desktop PC into a gaming pc?

Got this HP desktop PC (model p7-1210) with Windows 7 64-bit back in 2012. Wondering if it's worth the hassle to upgrade it to play modern games.

My PC's specs/parts are:

Processor: AMD A6-3620 APU

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6530D Graphics

6 GB RAM and CPU speed 2.2 GHz

Question#2
When's the last time you completed a game without reading/hearing a single review of it?

Have you ever tried taking a chance with a game without knowing if other people thought it was good or not? Unfortunately it's hard not to. I don't remember the last time I jumped into a game without any precaution. Hmm.. yea I don't remember. What about you, guys? Ever take a chance on a game in that way? What was your experience like?

1. I have a friend who's basically a non-gamer, and he bought his son (a 13-year old kid by my estimation) a PS4. Long story short, the kid and I ended up being PSN friends. Now, this kid ONLY plays Overwatch and Destiny! Day in, day out, he only plays those two games. I can't help but think that he is missing out on a lot of games with great narrative and gameplay.

My question is — and this may be hypothetical for most of you — would you influence your kid's game preferences? I know that none of you guys are big fans of those two games. But what if your kid is? What will you do to nudge him towards the Metal Gears, the Dragon Ages, the BioShocks, and the Soulsbornes?

2. Are there things in the game worlds that you are more inclined to look at? Things that may be related to your job in real life, or things that interest you. I tend to gravitate towards posters, and signages. Anything that has typography.

Brett has been too busy drinking the Nintendo Koolaid to play NiOH.

Seriously though, NiOH is great and both him and Chris should play it. Only downside is for the coop if someone wants to join you they need to have beat that mission already.

I hated the first demo that came out for it but ended up absolutely loving the game. Don't sleep on it.
