What’s up guys? I have two questions I wanted to ask that hopefully weren’t already asked lol

1) I think it’s safe to say that Horizon Zero Dawn is Sony’s breakout PS4 exclusive for 2017. Of all their upcoming 2018 titles that we know about so far, which game do you guys think will be their most successful exclusive of 2018? Will be Detroit: Become Human, Spider-Man, God of War or another title that we know absolutely nothing about right now?

2) On the Last Throwdown, we had a discussion on loot boxes and how this is now becoming a trend in gaming thanks to games like Overwatch that introduced it. What is another trend or practice in gaming that you guys think will become the next major talking point in the industry moving forward?

If People dislike it when a series becomes too popular, why do they love Mario?

People said when a franchise becomes popular it has to be dumbed down to appeal to the LCD (lowest common denominator) and it sells out on what made it good in the first place.

Where as Mario has been one of gaming’s most popular franchises since Super Mario Bros on NES, and the franchise has only gotten monumentally more popular since then.

Now people are hyping up Odyssey like it’s the Second Coming, and yet they still say it’s a problem if a series becomes too popular.

Do you think cell phone manufactures will create docking stations similar to the Switch? If so, do you think it could lead to cell phones becoming the primary hardware for TV-based gaming and/or perhaps desktop computing?
