1. Why is the gaming community up in arms over what MS is doing with game pass, gamepass is MS version on netflix and just like netflix MS has decided to have original content in their service, my question is because of the climate of the gaming industry and the fact that develpers and publisherers don't make any money on the resell market, is this the future of gaming?

2. If the future of gaming is a gamepass model, will you miss Gamestop if they have to close down?

Question#1
If AMD collapsed or got bought, Would the PS and XB ecosystem survive?

I know this is unrealistic, but in 2015, during the time of AMD's low point in history, Microsoft was considering buying AMD when AMD was only worth $1 Billion in market cap, this also came at a time where AMD has a substantial risk of becoming bankrupted. This is a problem for consoles since they rely on AMD for low cost X86-64 chips compared to Intel which charge large amounts of money to purchase.

So my question is, if AMD collapsed or got bought out by another company. Do you think Sony and Microsoft's ecosystem will survive the fallout?

Question#2
Why is fishing minigame so mainstream in open world and RPG games?

Just curious. Not that i hate it, but it seems almost always the first choice of minigame that developers choose to add to their game, especially in open world is fishing, why?
