I agree BC will bring a good amount of gamers to finally jump into current gen this holiday but I also think Sony’s upcoming PS4 COD bundle will convince many last gen gamers too considering this years COD is being made by the #1 COD team Treyarch and for the first time ever the PlayStation will have DLC first. in the US were Xbox 360 owners bought some insane ratio of game to hardware… no it’ll be important to those who are looking to migrate and there are still a lot more 360 owners who haven’t migrated then PS3 owners. BC will mater to them because not having to give up their library of games is important for poor people and people who are going to school.

Sony already buys software from Microsoft… Tony Sony will do what is best for their company and they don’t really care if Microsoft is the owner of AMD so long as they own the silicon… that’s all the matters to them and Intel and NVidia wont let them own it

I think BC will bring a lot of them on board… not having to move completely off their platform can mean more then you think for people who are not as hard core as we are… and for guys who have to trade in their systems

I honestly think Japan will be huge into VR, much more than NA. Maybe that’s one of the reasons Sony is investing in it. I also think the reason we haven’t had a release date yet is because the software isn’t there yet. I think it needs to be treated more like launching a new medium, than a new accessory, so Sony is being smart with that. However, it’s kind of a double edged sword, because a lot of people are also probably waiting to see how it does, before developing for it.

Also to be more on topic, Xbox still has the stigma of a shooter box, whether it still deserves it or not, and those don’t do well over there. Which also has me questioning Sony showing BLOPS there. They also showed TTK and Uncharted too.
