Both Sony and Microsoft have also said several times this year their monthly digital sales revenue records have been broken and it will continue to improve as this gen continues. Physical sales will obviously still make up the bulk of games sales for the foreseeable future but digital has been increasing ever since this generation started.

2. I backed the development of a game on Kickstarter (in 2013) because I like the concept of crowdsourcing from the backers’ perspective. I had backed another effort before that game that wasn’t a video game related project and received a quality gift for being a backer. However, the game still has not been released and it’s way past what was the initial release date; therefore, I haven’t backed ANY video game related projects because of that experience.

My question is which action would you take to ensure a healthier, positive environment for crowdsourced games: revamp Kickstarter’s assessment policies for games projects? Or start a new games-only backing system?

Why does 1 get a free pass & the other doesn’t? There’s only so much a military fps can do & venture out to.
I haven’t cared for a CoD game in years (last one I bought was MW3) but you can’t deny that there’s a lot of content there for your money, especially this year with the return of 4 player campaign co-op (2 player local split-screen too). it has always been a solid shooter no matter what you think.

Why would anyone pay $980 to play a game when you can pay $349 to play that same game? I thought resolution didn’t matter?

Sony owns the IP as they published the game on PS4/PS3/Vita and it is the reason why they are still listed as the publisher for the game on Steam and not Arrowhead themselves.
