I really enjoyed this game, but I see where you are coming from when it comes to the difficulty. Although we may disagree, your arguments were most definitely reasonable and well-written, and that’s what makes a good reviewer.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I don’t mind difficult games if they are difficult by design. Games like Megaman 9, Demon Souls and even Contra 4 (which WayForward also developed) are all very hard but I’d play them all.

The problem with Betrayal is its hard due to poor design decisions are unresponsive controls. I really, really wanted to like this game but it just isn’t very good.

well to be honest that title sounded inflammatory but you’ve made reasonable arguments good sir. Lack of difficulty controls doesn’t sound good to me. I generally play games on normal and honestly I do enjoy Mega Man 9 but knowing there’s a hard mode for the crazy gamers out there takes the pressure off normal mode and knowing there isn’t a normal mode makes me think they just put hard mode out and we all have to play it.. Catherine style and that sounds unappealing.
