As with some games, they appeal to a certain group of gamers. I am in that group. I’m certain that if it had been reviewed by other members of staff here then it would have gotten a different score.
Any score of on any website always reflects how much the reviewer enjoyed the game

Frontier shill alert. This is rubbish. There aren’t “updates each week/month”. There have been only two updates in the six months since launch, plus some patches attempting to fix the bugs introduced by the updates.

FWIW, my PC is about 5 years old. ATI Radeon HD 6800, Core2Duo 6400 and 4 gigs of RAM. I get a good 40 fps almost everywhere.

Sell one of the consoles. Problem solved.

While Elite: Dangerous has a bit more involved experience, I imagine No Man’s Sky reflecting the exploration portion. Keep it mind ED will continue to add portions of gameplay though.

A Space Flight Sim. Ever heard of Eve Online? Star Citizen? Kind of similar. Someones crap is probably another one’s treasure. A lot of people enjoy these type of games.
