Good idea, I mean a few years ago they added something called GameFlow too, which is like a smarter and more advanced version of Ask Madden that you can even customize as well. It makes play calling a lot simpler, I even use it sometimes as well.

Plus, the gameis just fun to play now. The new engine really makes it realistic, it’s pretty amazing to see in action, honestly.

This is definitely good news. I haven’t purchased Madden in years because it became wayyy too technical versus how football games used to be but I think I’ll try to give it a shot this year.

Yes you can. See, like I mentioned in the review, the defensive players are not psychic anymore. So just because the “right play” is called, doesn’t necessarily mean it will result in an interception or something. If the QB makes smart choices, and fits the ball in tight spots, and gets the timing down, you can still play well.

I mean, the fact of the matter is, still, that this is a sports game and experience > luck 99% of the time. Thankfully though, practicing and getting that experience is more fun this time around.

So can a Madden noob come in on this new game and stand a chance against average Madden players who have been playing previous years? My problem has always been playing against people who know how to use the computer to do all of their defense for them perfectly,
