Zoe Quinn and Anita Sarkeesian are just symptoms of a diseased industry. They are not the actual main problem here.

As for the topic at hand: I absolutely do not give 1 fuck about Zoe Quinn. This was the first detailed explanation of what she is accused of doing, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Seems like there was at least some wrong doing there, but I don’t know for sure. The bottom line is she’s being used as a martyr for the feminist cause, and as the opposite for the counter movement. I just don’t think she, or her game, deserve the attention.

What really pisses me off are these people who run these big sites who are acting like… I don’t even know how to put it. Some of the shit I’ve seen is just laughable. But it really isn’t funny. They just expect us to fall in line with their uniformed agenda 100% without questioning it, or be labeled a misogynist, hate monger, cyber terrorist, etc. People I used to have some respect for now seems to be going out of their way to label me negatively just because I don’t fall in line with every fucking thing they say. Ah… I’m starting to get mad and ramble here. I’ll just wrap this up by saying, I really didn’t have a dog in this fight. I don’t care about Zoe Quinn, and Anita Sarkeesian does not deserve my words or thoughts. Why the feminists cling to her when she’s been so completely proven a fraud is beyond me, but I digress. But the way this entire situation has been thrown in my face, in our faces, as an attempt to shame us? Fuck off with that noise. I refuse to continue to support anyone associated with those that would attempt to shame me into believing my way of thinking is wrong, and that I am the problem.

The unfortunate result is that I now hate modern feminism and all it stands for, BUT!! I love women and realize there are many who wish for more transparency and are speaking out against some of these crazy “justice warriors,” but it really sucks to have someone shooting you down for not being the same gender as them.

Sorry for the rant, I really needed to get that off my chest. Hopefully, everyone will be too busy playing Destiny next week to hate on one another.
