Yeah hopefully Sony lets Firesprite create a Wipeout game for PS4.

2. Is it just me or has the fanboy war died down exponentially as compared to last gen? Maybe its just me. But i feel like since these systems are more and more alike it makes it hard on the fanboys to talk shit. Or maybe its just that the trolls from last gen finally are growing up.

Yeah, I know studio liverpool is no more but I really loved the Wipeout series. I did see that trailer you was referring to and if you didn’t know any better, you’d think it was Wipeout but there wasn’t any mention of what platform Formula Fusion would be on. Perhaps I missed that bit out

1. Sony confirmed Share Play is coming this fall in PS4’s firmware 2.0 update.
2. No matter how much money a company puts into a network, it still can go down XBL also goes down from time to time.
3.Hopefully Guerrilla can redeem themselves but I’m already optimistic about Horizon based of the concept art and because the game isn’t a shooter.

Regarding the Wipeout series I’m not sure if it will ever release on the PS4 since Studio Liverpool is no more but Sony owns the IP so they could always have another 1st party studio create it or license the IP out to a 3rd party studio to create the game. Sony has licensed their IPs to 3rd party teams before such as Sanzaru for Sly, Sumo Digital for LBP3, nStigate for Resistance Burning Skies, so they could always have the new studio called Firesprite a team made up of ex studio Liverpool devs create the game. Firesprite already has a close relationship with Sony too as they created content for the Playroom.
However just because Wipeout has traditionally been on every Sony console that doesn’t necessarily mean it will continue for Syphon Filter was on every Sony console until the PS3. If you want a Wipeout type game their is a game called Formula Fusion coming to the PS4/XB1/PC which is being made by a studio called R8 games who are also made up of former Wipeout devs.

2) Follow on question to the above….Sony have an established franchise in the simulation driving genre, i.e Grand Tourismo. As far as I can tell, and what I’ve played of Drive Club, it’s
seems to be a simulation driving game. Am I the only one to think it’s illogical for Sony to publish another simulation driving game which effectively completes with Grand Tourismo?

3) With Ubisoft already commiting to a sequel to Watchdogs, what other new IP’s would you like to see a sequel too? Do you think there’s some new IP’s that have already died in this stage of the new console cycle (I’m looking at you Rise!). Do you think software developers will continue to take risk and bring out new IP’s (such as Destiny) or play it safe with what’s already established?

4) In the UK, Xbox one has had another price cut by £20-£30. Do you think Microsoft are in trouble as they have not released the official sale numbers of the Xbox one?

5) Every Sony console to date has had a version of Wipeout. Will we ever see another Wipeout on the PS4 and would you like to see one?!

2. I’m not hearing too much talk about Shadow of Mordor, but I think it might be a surprise to a lot of people who haven’t been paying attention. What is everyone’s thoughts about the game?

3. February next year has a lot of big games coming out. Off the top of my head there is Evolve, Bloodborne, Witcher 3, The Order 1886. If you only had money for one game that month which game would you buy and why?

That $600 doesn’t include Windows, a good Monitor, a good mouse and keyboard does it? Listen I spent $2000 on a PC 4 years ago and I know for a fact if you spend $600 for a rig the most you will get is mid range quality in graphics depending on the game. So at that point you’re better of just spending $400 on your choice of console. But really let people do what they want with their money, cause at the end of the day who cares? Unless you want to buy them a gaming PC yourself.

2. We’re still hearing about PSN going down. I thought that paying for PS+ would help get a more stable online network. Why isn’t that the case?

3. Killzone: Shadowfall was the worst Killzone in the series and was a big letdown for me. However, Guerrilla games has that new IP called Horizon that they are working on. The premise and the concept art looks good to me, what do you guys think? Can Guerrilla games redeem themselves?

4. When will Torrence Davis realize that most gamers don’t want to or can’t afford to spend $3,000 on a gaming PC just to play games with prettier graphics and higher resolution? I thought that stuff didn’t matter.
