I had a fantastic time watching it, though I won’t deny that it has flaws. The movies that came before in the trilogy really boost the narrative choices they took with the older characters (Magneto, Xavier, Mystique, Hank) and the new generation of mutants were all very compelling. I enjoyed seeing younger versions of Jean, Scott and Kurt. Storm’s relationship with Mystique could have been built on more but there was already A LOT to juggle.
And when the movie had bad lines or weird moments were more near the end of the film, but it was the kind of bad that I still enjoy and can laugh at.

Exactly. I think dudes are just looking to start controversy. Save the hate for BvS.
