Oh alright, It is a new franchise though this is their version of the Red Dead IP, thus the reason it has nothing to do with that corny RDrevolver stuff capcom came up with and they finished.

yea, I know but calling it a "new franchise" seems silly, especially since the two games aren't even connected so the only reason why they chose to call this game "Red Dead" was because they wanted to extend the franchise.

I personally hated RD1… but i'm looking forward to copping RDR

Carl if you didn't know RED DEAD REVOLVER wasn't a R* Game, it was a CAPCOM developed game, then in 2002 the IP was bought by Take 2, who basically finished the game Capcom had started ti.

The real plans for the IP was to turn it into a R* game and that is what Read Dead Redemption, no one remembers red red revolver in the mainstream market.

Red Dead Redemption is a GTA game and sold exactly like one to, so expect more RED DEAD for years/generations to come.
