In reply to Tony Polanco. I don't see why, my thing is Sony is like the Yankees and Ms is like the RedSox, Kojima is a free agent and he signed with who made the most sense to him, and it was the best move based on where the two companies are right now.

Good luck to Kojima and Sony on this, I personally think this was the best fit for him and a major PR win for Sony, as this is a new studio it only makes sense to partner with the current industry leader, it gives a greater chance of success.

In reply to Final_Stage_Boss. Thanks. I think this just comes down to the whole Fan boy thing. PlayStation FB's see this as some big victory and Xbox FB's are either butt hurt or saying Hideo isn't all that great. Its neither of those. Japanese people are very patriotic and Hideo sees a way to work in the industry and showcase his pride in Japan. I cant wait to see his new games post Konami.

Its not surprising that Hideo Kojima would team with Sony. He is a Japanese hero and PS4 is the power house Japanese hardware maker.. Kojima is a great developer he is right up there with Shigeru Miyamoto in terms of contributions and longevity to home gaming. Fun fact, The first Metal Gear game was developed for a Microsoft console. The MSX2 which was a basic computer that was highly successful in the Japanese market. I hope Kojima continues to make games well into the future. I think its great he will no longer be connected to Konami as it will allow him more freedom to expand into different types of games more often.
