1. With every new generation of consoles, we have always heard that the price of games would rise… but $60.00 has stayed around for a while. Do you think gamers would rather pay $80 – $100 for a COMPLETE game upfront rather than getting an incomplete game at $60 with $40 + of DLC and other shit?

1. I thought the advertising question was a good one; success can be achieved through word-of-mouth but that approach doesn’t compare to an effective multi-channel marketing and advertising campaign. Listening to that question and seeing the Halo 5 commercials got me thinking about some of the old-school video game commercials; some of my favorites were the Spyro ads with the sheep protesting the game and the Sonic & Knuckles ads. Are there any old video game ads you enjoyed?

Xbox did it less than a year later. I understand they needed to make up ground but I can’t recall any major console doing a price cut less than two years later. Especially when the console is doing incredible.

I don’t think a price cut two years after a consoles release is “quickly”.
