Earlier today, Ubisoft released a brand new co-op trailer for their upcoming Splinter Cell: Blacklist video game.
The video above gives a brief overview of the brand new Blacklist co-op mode that will allow two players to play up to 4 different mission types across roughly 14 different level maps. Sam Fisher’s partner in this trailer is CIA operative Isaac Briggs, one of many characters on Sam’s deadly tactical team. The benefit to playing this mode comes in the fact that teaming up will allow both players to access certain areas of a map that otherwise they wouldn’t be able to reach on their own. Ubisoft has also added that the mode can be played in split-screen just in case you want to invite a buddy over and play a few missions together.
After following this game closely for the last couple months, I must admit that Splinter Cell: Blacklist is shaping up rather nicely and will definitely be another memorable entry in the series. Ubisoft made a decision early on list to the fans while making this game and so far they are delivering on just about every promise. We will have a more in-depth preview on this game after we check it out during E3 2013. In the meantime, get pumped and ready for some more Sam Fisher action later this year.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist releases on August 20th in North America and on August 23rd in Europe for the PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. Will you be checking out the co-op mode? Feel free to let us know what you think in the comments section below.
