According to TheWrap, Warner Bros. Discovery is making its return to the Super Bowl after a 17-year absence with a promo for The Flash on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023 during Super Bowl LVII. Then five days later, the superhero film will have its trailer debuting in front of Marvel Studios Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which opens in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.
According to many people with within the industry and working on The Flash movie, it has been testing positively.
As we all know, the movie stars Ezra Miller and inspired by Flashpoint comic which will see The Flash travel across various multiverses, encountering other versions of himself as well as a version of Supergirl from an alternate timeline.
Millerย previously announcedย they had entered into treatment for โcomplex mental health issuesโ and apologized for their actions in a statement to media about their recent disturbing behavior.
Michael Keaton is set to make his return as Batman after nearly 30 years since donning the cape. He first played Batman/Bruce Wayne in Tim Burtonโs 1989 Batman, a critical and financial success that changed how superhero films were viewed โ and paved the way for the genreโs future box office domination.
He last played Batman in 1992โs Batman Returns and quit the role during development of a third film after Burton was pushed out as director and replaced with Joel Schumacher, who took the series in a terrible direction with 1995โs Batman Forever and 1997 follow up Batman & Robin.
In good news, The Flash will no acknowledge the latter two films, instead focus on exploring what Keatonโs Batman has been up to since we last saw him.
Due to Henry Cavill no longer playing Superman, The Flash has removed a cameo of Henry Cavillโs Superman.
The Flash will open in theaters on Jun 16, 2023.
