The creators of Mortal Kombat, NetherRealm Studios, have just announced their latest fighting game. Nope, not Mortal Kombat 10 or MK2, but a new fighting game featuring DC characters only. The team is taking a second crack at working with DC by making a full-fledged game around the property.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is the name of said title and so far features characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, and Flash to name a few. Based on the trailer, the fighting mechanics look similar to that of Mortal Kombat and even features the cool level transitions that were featured in MK Vs. DC Universe. The next detail is a bummer for MK fans but an appropriate move for this title, the game will have a T-for-teen rating so don’t go expecting decapitations and whatnot. The game is set for a 2013 release on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii-U.
