Last night, 2k Games released a launch trailer for their upcoming Psycho Pack DLC for Borderlands 2.
The video above highlights the latest DLC character Krieg in all his chaotic glory. He specializes in offering a high-risk, high-reward melee combat aesthetic that will come in handy for skilled Borderlands 2 players looking for a challenge. Unfortunately, Krieg is not part of the original Borderlands 2 Season pass DLC and has to be purchased for the full retail price of $10.00 ( 800 Microsoft points) over Xbox Live Marketplace, PSN, and Steam. In addition to the trailer above, 2k Games was also nice enough to send us over some screenshots and boxart for the Psycho Pack DLC. You can check out all those images below.
Adding a character as crazy and skilled as Krieg should be more then enough to convince a lot of Borderlands 2 fans to playthrough the campaign again. While some may be annoyed that he wasn’t a part of the season pass, this concept has become a given in today’s industry and is therefore not the least bit shocking. Ultimately, if you’re a huge Borderlands 2 fan then chances are you’ll probably be picking up this DLC anyway.
