Gran Turismo 6 Info Blowout: Debut Trailer Plus Full Announcement Presentation

Earlier today, news about Gran Turismo 6 leaked early from an event at Silverstone. Now the info embargo has been lifted and a whole torrent of information has been released. Check out the video from VG24/7 above who managed to record the event and check below for the full feature rundown as well as the debut trailer.

You won’t have to wait long to play the game either, as there will be a demo available on PSN this July and the game releases this holiday for the PS3. Yep, that’s right, the PS3 and not the PS4.

Here’s the rundown. Once again thanks to VG24/7 for collecting the info together.:

To be honest this rundown of features does not seem that appealing. Every racing game has loads of cars and locations, and so did GT5. But what’s going to make this game different from the last? Hopefully the new game and physics engine means that Gran Turismo 6 will play noticeably different from the last. Otherwise, I’ll have to question the existence of this game. One thing that does excite me is the new UI and improved loading times. If you played the last entry in the series you will agree that they were insufferable.

Let me know in the comments how you feel about Gran Turismo 6. I’m sure this announcement is bound to divide some opinions.
