Earlier today, Nintendo updated their North America eShop store to include a brand new demo of the upcoming 3DS RPG Bravely Default. A video is embedded above to give you all an idea of what to expect from the demo.
Bravely Default could be best described as a highly ambitious turn-based combat RPG with a compelling cast of characters, rich storytelling, and a deeply addictive risk/reward perk system. Customers who decide to download the demo will gain access to an exclusive side quest that won’t be available in the main game. The full retail version of Bravely Default is expected to launch on both the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS handhelds on February 7th.
In addition to today’s news regarding Bravely Default, the following games can also be found on the Nintendo eShop:
Dr. Luigi – Wii U
CastleStorm – Wii U
Mega Man X2 – Wii U Virtual Console
Super Punch-Out!! – Wii U Virtual ConsoleBird Mania Christmas 3D – 3DS
Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot – 3DS
EDGE – 3DS
Mario Tennis – 3DS Virtual Console
The 3DS had a solid year of game releases all last year. Is Bravely Default an early sign that the Nintendo 3DS is destined to dominate again this year? Ultimately, we will find out the answer that that and more soon enough.
