Earlier today, 2K Sports revealed that Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal is the official cover athlete for their upcoming Legend Edition of NBA 2K18. Along with this news came details for both Legend and Legend Edition Gold, a worldwide release date of September 15th, and a video announcement by The Big Aristotle himself. The NBA 2K18 Legend Edition costs $99.99 and includes the following:

- 5 Panini trading cards

- 100,000 Virtual Currency

The NBA 2K18 Legend Edition Gold costs $149.99 and includes the following:

- Shaq in-game items
- And more!
Aside from this news, 2K didn’t provide any other details on changes coming to the game nor the identity of the cover athlete for the regular edition of NBA 2K18. Perhaps we will hear more about these topics during E3 2017 next month.
