This week’s Throwback Thursday featured artist is classic 90’s Hip-Hop group – A Tribe Called Quest.
We will revisit five selected tracks from their discography.
The first of the five tracks is “Ham ‘n’ Eggs” from their 1990 debut album “People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rythm“. This track contains appearances from all the members of Tribe Called Quest.
The second track of our selection is “Buggin’ Out“. This track is from their sophomore album “The Low End Theory” which was released in 1991.
“Electric Relaxation” is track three. This song was from their third album “Midnight Marauders” which was released in 1993. J Cole recently used the same sample for his song “Forbidden Fruit“.
Track four is “Stressed Out” from A Tribe Called Quest’s 1996 album “Beats, Rhymes and Life“. The song features Faith Evans who sings the hook.
The final Tribe Called Quest song in our selection is “Like It Like That“. Released in 1998, “Like It Like That” was featured on their 1998 album “The Love Movement“.
