Steve Papoutsis, GM at Visceral Games and Exec. Producer for Battlefield Hardline, has made an announcement today via blog post. It contained information about for the upcoming Battlefield Hardline beta testing. Not much was revealed about the beta, but it is confirmed it will be available for everyone on all platforms which include PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
Gamers who participate will be able to use new gadgets, new strategies and show off to each other on two maps and two modes. The maps featured for the beta are Dust Bowl and Downtown and the two modes available will be Hotwire and Conquest. Conquest is the massive all-out 64 player modes of cops and criminal warfare, and Hotwire is new mode focusing on a combined warfare of speed and skill. Literally!
Papoutsis also left a message for fans and future participants of the Battlefield Hardline beta,
“While it’s just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay a while. There won’t be a cap on the max progression level so whether you’re busting criminals or fleeing the cops, unlock away.”
“We want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve. We’ll see you on the streets of Battlefield Hardline soon.”
No official date is set for the beta, but considering the game is scheduled for release on Mar. 20th, 2015, you can expect the beta to start in the coming weeks. In addition, anyone who plays the beta will be able to give their opinion of the game and can submit feedback in the Battlefield Forum.
And of course, they will be listening!
