Mojang announced that they will be giving a Friendly Update to Minecraft with Minecraft Realms. Realms will allow players to play with each other across Xbox One, Windows 10, and pocket editions of the game. Realms is now available for pocket and Windows 10, Xbox One will be released at a later date.
They also announced that Minecraft on Windows 10 and pocket will be getting add-ons which include modifications to the original gameplay. Players will be able to modify textures, AI functions, and different aspects to the game. During the demonstration, they showed off a large enemy, alien boss. Add-ons are coming in fall of 2016.
