Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will be making its way onto the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this year, after initially being a Wii U exclusive when the console launched at the end of 2012.
Japanese gaming website Game Nyarth reports that the title will release on the 360 and Ps3 on April 4 in Japan. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge contains additional content compared to the original Ninja Gaiden 3 that released in March 2012. There are three downloadable characters along with new costumes for everybody and more importantly 25 ‘Ninja Trails’ mission that add a lot more gameplay and variety to the game. The new release will also feature a new campaign featuring Ayane as well as all the DLC previously released for Ninja Gaiden 3.
There is no word yet on whether Razor’s Edge will make is way to Europe or North America, but we can be very hopeful considering that Razor’s Edge was available at launch worldwide for the Wii U.
The third game in the series was not very well received compared to previous entries so hopefully the additions to the game improve the overall experience.
UPDATED: We can now confirm that Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will indeed be hitting the US on April 2nd and Europe on April 5th.
