Thanks to some early Xbox One users we have learnt the sizes of the Xbox One launch games, considering the Xbox One comes with a 500GB hard drive it’s easy to see how quickly that thing will fill up!
Check out the list below to find out the sizes of all the Xbox One launch titles:
- Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag – 20GB
- Battlefield 4 – 33GB
- Call of Duty: Ghosts – 39GB
- Dead Rising 3 – 19GB
- FIFA 14 – 8GB
- Fighter Within – 9.2GB
- Forza Motorsport 5 – 31GB
- Just Dance 2014 – 22GB
- Killer Instinct – 3.4GB
- Lococyle – 13GB
- Madden NFL 25 – 12GB
- NBA 2K14 – 43GB
- NBA Live 14 – 9GB
- Powerstar Golf – 3.9GB
- Ryse: Son of Rome – 34GB
- Skylanders: Swap Force – 15GB
- Xbox Fitness – 246MB
- Zoo Tycoon – 2.6GB
- Zumba World Party – 24GB
There’s some large games in there! It’s not surprising for big graphical games like Forza, Ryse and Battlefield to take up 30GB+. What is surprising is the size difference between NBA 2K14 and NBA Live, that’s very interesting and I wonder if that is obvious in the quality of the games themselves. 500GB does seem pretty small for the new consoles, especially since they are pushing for an all digital future, hopefully bigger versions of the Xbox One and PS4 come out soon because I can see my hard drive filling up very quickly if I get in the habit of downloading games.
Do you think that the new consoles should have come with bIgger hard drives? Let me know in the comments below.
