Yesterday, Konami announced that a demo for the upcoming Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse video game will be released on October 1st. All save data from the demo transfers over to the full game when it releases weeks later.
This news follows the English voice cast news that dropped back in August. I think it’s a great idea to have a demo because it further entices other players to check out the game and potentially buy it later. This strategy has worked well for Capcom titles like Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. I believe Belmont’s Curse could benefit greatly from this same strategy. More details can be found here.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launches on October 15th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the months ahead.
