Although I am sure most of you guys in the USA won’t know who half these people are, Fable III is set to feature some of Britain’s most popular voices in showbiz. The game is to feature unique voicing from John Cleese, Stephen Fry and Jonathan Ross. As one of the UK’s representatives on The Koalition, I can confirm that these are some excellent choices as far as doing voice work in a game like Fable III. Jonathan Ross is one of my favorite UK comedians, next to Jimmy Carr. Peter Spoke to IGN recently on the whole voice casting experience, here is a quote.
“How we’re using these characters is very much dependent on how you play the game,” said Molyneux. “This is not like traditional dialogue – we went into a studio with John Cleese and I think he’d never done anything like this ever before, because we had to say ‘if the player is like this, how are you going to react’. It was a very interesting process.”
Molyneux also spoke to The Koalition around two months back, speaking on some aspects of Fable III which is to be released on the Xbox 360 by the end of the year. Let’s hope we find out more interesting facts about the game at this year’s E3.
