After the announcement of the three European Collector Editions of Assassin’s Creed III, many fans in North America have been patiently waiting to see what Ubisoft had in store for them. Today the company made a formal announcement that a Limited Edition package of the game is currently in production and will be available at launch. Here are all the details from their official announcement:
Assassin’s Creed III Limited Edition will be available for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 customers residing in North America and Latin America. The package will retail for $119.99 and contain all of the following:
- Assassin’s Creed III Video Game
- A 9.44″ Assassin statue featuring Connor “poised to strike with tomahawk and hidden blade.”
- Embroidered 28″x48″ Assassin’s Creed-inspired colonial flag.
- 3″x3.25″ metal belt buckle.
Alternatively, PC fans will be able to preorder a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game for $64.99. This package will include the following:
- George Washington’s notebook
- Three single-player missions “from the high seas to Cozumel Island in search of Captain Kidd’s fabled lost treasure”
- Captain of the Aquila’s uniform and Colonial Assassin outfit, boarding axe and Scottish flintlock
- Sharpshooter/Redcoat characters for multiplayer
- The “best audio tracks” from previous Assassin’s Creed games
Assassin’s Creed III releases on October 30th for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The PC version will hit retail on November 23rd.
