Turn Based Podcast

Turn Based, The RPG Podcast 20: How Will The Elder Scrolls Online Stand Out From Other MMO’S?

Finally we’ve reached twenty episodes of the Turn Based podcast, the only podcast in which we discuss nothing but role-playing games. We had an informative show this week in which we went back and forth on a number of different topics. We were joined by fellow Koalition writer Tom Skidmore who is a graduate in game design and the editor behind the series Retro Recap. This week we put the spotlight on The Elder Scrolls online as host David Jagneaux managed to get some hands-on time with it at Quakecon last Friday. We touched on everything that has us eager to play the game, while also having a full blown discussion on how Bethesda and ZeniMax can make The Elder Scrolls online stand out from other games in the now crowded MMO market.

David also explained why Everquest Next really is the next exciting thing to happen in MMO gaming. Be on the lookout for a full article detailing all new information about Everquest Next.

We also spoke on some of the latest news topics including The Elder Scrolls Anthology revealed last week. Some are saying it’s an expensive package, but we personally feel as though it’s great value. We also give our 2 cents on Lightning’s increased cup size in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII as it has stirred up quite a bit of debate over the status of Final Fantasy’s brand influence.

All of this and more on Turn Based episode 20. If you would like to be a guest on a future episode then hit us up either on Twitter or through our contact page. Leave your thoughts and comments below, we love hearing from you.
