Earlier today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that there will be a Season Pass for their upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins video game. The Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass will retail for $19.99 and contain a total of 5 downloadable content packs. Below is an image of the advertised package along with a brief overview of each piece of content:
Although it’s not confirmed yet, I do expect the brand new story content to be released at a later date. Several game studios are notorious of releasing story DLC much later in development as evidenced by both the BioShock Infinite and The Last of Us games from earlier this year. Is it possible that this new story content leads into the next game or will it only act as filler content from the main campaign?Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer to find all this out.
In addition to today’s news, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment also revealed two new trailers a few days ago showing off both the Deathstroke Challenge pack and Knightfall Skins pack exclusive to PlayStation 3 owners. The Deathstroke DLC content is a preorder incentive while the Knightfall skins are available for free. You can have a look at both trailers below.
Batman: Arkham Origins launches worldwide on October 25th and will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. Are any of you planning on buying the Season Pass?
