Today we have been given a detailed update on some new aspects of Killzone Shadow Fall’s multiplayer, including new information about challenges, combat honors and weapons.
A blog post over at the Killzone website explains the new details, check them out:
The big take away here is the lack of XP in the game. The move to challenges is certainly an interesting one and I wonder how that will change people’s play styles. If you don’t level up by getting straight kills then I think that this could encourage more teamwork in the game by forcing people to work together to complete challenges. This could be a great thing and could even stop people from camping and cheating. All the details sound promising and it seems like Killzone Shadow Fall is turning into an excellent game. I look forward to playing it when it releases!
Killzone Shadow Fall release with the PS4 on Nov 15th in North America and Nov 29th in Europe.
