Ladies and gentlemen this is Playstation 4, the world’s most advance videogame console according to the folks at Sony. The system will launch later this year in US and Europe for $399/€399/£349 respectively. This makes Sony’s console considerably cheaper than the Xbox One which will launch in the same period for $499/€499/£429.
Unlike the Xbox One, the PS4 will play used games without a fee, does not require an internet connection and there will be no mandatory game installs for disc-based games.
One thing that the PS4 does borrow from the Xbox is restricted multiplayer modes. Only PS+ subscribers will be able to play PS4 games online but seriously, if you don’t have a PS+ accounts you probably don’t deserve the console to begin with.
