As we reported earlier this week, a bug which may corrupt save data in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was discovered. Using the buddy, Quiet, during missions 29 and 42 could lead to one’s saves being corrupted. Today, Konami has posted a work around for this problem until they can patch it properly.
Konami posted this on their official site:
However, you may still safely use Quiet in these missions if you use the Butterfly Emblem throughout the missionor avoid raising your Bond Level with Quiet to MAX during the course of the mission.
Not only is the company working on a patch to fix this issue, but they are also working on a way to fix save data which has already been corrupted.
Stay tuned for more on this as it develops.
