Yesterday, Creative Assembly revealed that their Alien: Isolation video game is set to release worldwide on October 7th. The announcement was made during this weekend’s EGX Rezzed show in Birmingham, UK. A brand new behind the scenes trailer is embedded above for you all to check out.
Alien: Isolation could be best described as a single-player survival horror game filled with stealth elements. Players take on the role of Amanda Ripley as she explores a space station is search of her estranged mother Ellen Ripley. Creative Assembly has revealed that human enemies will play a role in the game along with a dangerous alien drone serving as the main threat on the space station.
After Aliens: Colonial Marines failed to impress, I’m personally hoping that this game can finally give us the Aliens experience we all have been waiting for. SEGA is expected to reveal more from this game during E3 2014 in June. Stay tuned for more of our coverage on the game at that time.
