Earlier today, EA Sports revealed a new gameplay trailer from their upcoming UFC video game. The video embedded above is part of an ongoing series that highlights all of the work that has gone into making the game that diehard UFC fans will be playing later this year.
EA Sports UFC footage was first revealed during EA’s E3 2013 press conference last year. This highly anticipated fighting game will make full use the studio’s brand new Ignite engine to achieve the look and feel of a next-gen sports title. Fighters will take extensive damage over the course of each bout and every maneuver is expected to be fully animated with precision. If the graphics and gameplay are any indication of what the final product will look like, then I fully believe that EA may be on to something big here.
EA Sports UFC is scheduled to launch this spring on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. While no firm release date is set yet, we can expect to hear about the game sooner rather than later.
