On this episode of The Co-op Podcast we invited someone who we met at E3 2014 on the show by the name of Austin Conway. Austin joins host Edward V. Richard Bailey Jr. Charles Singeltary and I as we discuss some of the latest gaming topics. Our main discussion this week was surrounding Playstation Now, and the impact the service may have once it officially launches. Do we need a rental service that charges to rent games digitally for more than the price of owning the game on disk? Does this service even target us (hardcore gamers)? Listen to our discussion and let us know how you feel about it in the comments.
Also this week:
- We discuss Xbox One family sharing.
- We discuss what we want from Mirrors Edge 2 in terms of developer focus.
- Capcom are open for a buyout and there’s rumors of Microsoft taking them up on the offer. Would Microsoft be the best company to buy Capcom? What about Nintendo?
All this and much more.
