I guess Rockstar Games little DLC strategy was contagious. Peter Molyneux Revealed in a recent interview Fable III will come with lots of DLC episodic content. Talking to Bit-Tech he spoke of a certain inspiration he got for a few episodes of Fable III:
“I’ve often thought it would be brilliant to be walking through Charles Dickens’ London. It was such a dark place and very episodic too – so we’re doing that with Fable III,”
“We’ll give you the first big episodes, and you’ll be able to download new episodes, which is analogous to the way Dickens wrote.”
Charles Dickens inspired DLC, plus regular episodes as well, sign me up! I only hope these episodes are a healthy amount of gameplay hours. GTA offered a great example of what episodic content means, lets hope Peter doesn’t redefine that by coming up short on quality.
