Being the most graphically advanced game of your time isn’t necessarily a good thing, as demonstrated by Crysis back in 2007. The “PC Powerhouse” was simply too advanced to run at full specs on any computer that wasn’t owned by NASA and thus the game’s biggest strength quickly became its biggest weakness. For Crysis 2, EA and Crytek are taking a more prosperous route by also releasing the futuristic FPS on PS3 and Xbox 360. Sure in a sense this means inferior graphics but at least now more than four people can experience it! Admittedly I’m over reacting a little, but Crysis 2 has potential to push this critically acclaimed franchise on to a whole new audience. Don’t think of this as a sequel, think of it as a new beginning.
