Today 2K Games unveiled a new online mini-game for the The Bureau: XCOM Declassified called HungoverX. The game follows the exploits of hungover agent Bill Carter as he uses his co-workers to help him get through a long day of work. HungoverX functions as a live-action spoof of XCOM that makes use of the same strategic weapon wheel gameplay dynamics that are found in XCOM Declassified.

In addition to HungoverX being revealed, 2K Games also released the latest trailer from their live-action XCOM Declassified series which can be seen above. The video features a brutal interrogation scene in which Agent Carter attempts to beat the truth out of an unknown adversary. A new trailer is expected to keep the story going once it’s released this Friday.
With all of these trailers and the mini-game getting released, it’s evident that both 2K Games and 2K Marin are putting a great deal of work into The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Will all of this hard work payoff in the end? Luckily that question and many others will be answered soon enough.
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified releases on August 20th in North America and on August 23rd in Europe for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. What did you think of the trailer and HungoverX? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
