Earlier this week, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment teamed up to launch a Titanfall Arcade website that showcases how their highly anticipated new IP would look if it was reimagined as an 8-bit Atari title. The end result is a clever marketing website that features three browser-based games that people can play. Below is a graphic image taken directly from the website.
As displayed in the above screenshot, the only game that is currently available is Asteroids. There is no set date or time given as to when we will be able to play the other two games in the series. Having had a chance to play the game, I can honestly say that overall experience is both simple and easy for anyone who wants to try it out. Again, this website was solely created to take advantage of all the hype and remind gamers that Titanfall will be out in a few days.
You can visit the website now at titanfallarcade.com.
Stay tuned in the days ahead for our Titanfall stream and my in-depth review of one of Microsoft’s biggest releases of the year. Are any of you planning on picking up Titanfall later this week? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
