Earlier tonight, a Respawn Entertainment rep confirmed via Twitter that Titanfall has officially gone gold. The tweet and accompanying image can be seen embedded below:

Given that the game is packaged in the image, one might assume that copies are currently being shipped out to various retailers around the world. This announcement comes a few days after Microsoft revealed that a Titanfall Xbox One bundle will also be releasing on March 11th. While customers in Europe will receive a price cut on this bundle, consumers in North America will still have to pay full price but have the luxury of getting the game for free.
Microsoft seems to be hedging all their bets on Titanfall at this point. While we thoroughly enjoyed what the Titanfall beta had to offer, the question of longevity still seems to be a concern for all of us. Hopefully the finished product can succeed in swaying our thoughts on the matter.
Titanfall launches on the Xbox One, PC, and Xbox 360 next month. Are any of you planning on picking it up? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
