Ubisoft took the stage at this year’s E3 to announce the legendary Angela Bassett will not just be in Rainbow Six Siege, she will star in the game as Six.
A new threat has our world reveals: The White Masks. They are the highest threat and do not distinguish between age, religion or nationality. To stop this organization, you’ll have to prove yourself as the best operator in the world to recruit.
Inspired by real anti-terrorist units in the world, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six victories invites the player to master the art of siege. Intense melee confrontations, extreme danger, tactics, team play and excitement are at the heart of this experience. Experience a new kind of storm with the siege gameplay, which turns environments into fortresses and new procedures requires.
Anti-terrorist units are trained in extreme situations, as in a hostage rescue, to act with surgical Präszision. They act in a confined space and are expert in close combat, the destruction and the well-coordinated assault.
Rainbow Six ushers in the return of Terrohunt mode, which will allow up to 5 players to take on AI-enemies both offensive and defensive play.
There will be 11 Terrohunt maps included with the game which will generation at random.
In addition, Ubisoft announced that Rainbow Six: Vegas and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 will be free for anyone that buys Rainbow Six: Siege.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six will release October 13th for PC, Xbox One and PS4. On September 24th a closed beta will be available for the game.
