Details about Call of Duty: Black Ops III Emerge, Zombies Will Return

After the trailer and confirmation earlier today, it seems like some details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III were found embedded in the source code of their site.

In the source code (found by Charlie Intel originally), Activision outlines the games three modes, affirming the notion that Zombies will be back in Call of Duty. While they didn’t have much to say today, you can read what was found below:

Call of Duty®: Black Ops 3 is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series. Developed by Treyarch, the award-winning creator of the two most-played games in Call of Duty® history. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare. With three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies, providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever.

While it’s not much to go by, it seems that the franchises decision to move further into the future will be continued by Treyarch. Earlier this week on their Facebook, they were sharing a ton of stuff regarding embeddable implants for humans. Obviously, we won’t know the full details until April 26, but you can rest assured that you’ll be shooting undead something come this fall.
