Double Fine’s Hack ‘n’ Slash has been readily available on Steam Early Access for some time now, but yesterday the company finally released 1.0–the version that’s sold through the regular Steam store. To celebrate the official release, Double Fine announced a sale for the game as well as two new features.
The first new feature in version 1.0 of Hack ‘n’ Slash is the the rest of the game–namely the final tower. Players who have been playing the Early Access version will be able to immediately climb the tower with their progress in check.
The second feature for Hack ‘n’ Slash is the source code. The modding community will be able to mold the code into their own creations, which is fitting considering the game’s subject matter.
You can currently purchase Hack ‘n’ Slash for $13.99 (originally $19.99 with 33% discount). The sale lasts until September 16, 2014.
