Yes, Halloween is past us, but the season of bar heavy music is one that should never pass. The PLK Lloyd Banks returns to drop a sequel to his original Halloween Havoc mixtape from 2008. Banks rarely drops mixtapes, but when he does it’s usually fire. Halloween Havoc 2 continues his tradition of gritty New York lyrical content, and it doesn’t disappoint.
Lloyd Banks is a rappers rapper, he focuses on his lyrics more than his ability to make chart worthy songs, so don’t expect amazing production on Halloween Havoc 2. If you’re a fan of Banks’ gritty, bar heavy style then you’ll love this tape. My favourite track so far is song 3, Nowadays.
