Nintendo has revealed via Twitter that Metroid Prime: Federation Force will release for the Nintendo 3DS in North America on August 19th and in Europe on September 2nd.

Next Level Games is developing the game, while series producer Kensuke Tanabe is overseeing the development of the game.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force will be playable this weekend at PAX East in Boston at the Nintendo booth.
