Earlier today, NieR: Automata Producer Yosuke Saito confirmed via Twitter that the highly anticipated action role-playing game has officially gone gold several weeks ahead of its release. The tweet includes an image and is conveniently embedded below for all of you to check out:
最近の流行りらしいから書けと言われたので書きますが、「ニーア オートマタはマスターアップしました!(随分前に)」というわけで、発売まで諸々よろしくお願い申し上げます。 #NieR pic.twitter.com/BPOyNipM08

I got a chance to play the NieR: Automata demo back in December and was absolutely blown away. This sequel was first announced way back at Square Enix’s E3 2015 press conference and is expected to be more action packed and compelling than the first game. NieR: Automata will also be the PlatinumGames developed title with the most attention so far this year after the unexpected cancellation of Scalebound last month.
NieR: Automata launches on March 7th for the PlayStation 4. A PC version is also in the works and scheduled for release sometime later this year. Are any of you planning on picking up the title? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
