Playing casino games is always full of drama. The tension builds as the roulette wheel spins and you wonder just what the next card will be when playing either poker of blackjack. No wonder, therefore, it is no surprise that such games have been regularly featured in movies.
Including these games is important for both the movie and the casino industry. They add tension to the films they are included in and create more interest in the games that are featured. If that is the case, then there are plenty of sites you can visit online which feature the latest online blackjack games. Letโs look at some of the top movies that have featured casino games.

Casino Royale
James Bond may be on a mission to stop yet another crazed villain trying to take over the world, but he regularly finds time to pay a visit to a casino. Thatโs just what he does in โCasino Royale.โ You can choose between the spoof movie from 1967 or Daniel Craigโs first outing as Bond in 2006.
Baccarat and Texas Hold โEm Poker are the casino games featured in these movies as Bond battles Le Chiffre. As is often the case when casino games appear in movies, thereโs some skulduggery afoot to try and get big wins.ย In the 1960s movies, infrared sunglasses are used, almost as efficient as the x-ray eye patch later to be seen in the first Austin Powers movie.
When the far more serious Daniel Craig version was released, the villainous methods used were a lot darker. Should Bond really drink that martini heโs given?

The Cincinnati Kid
Steve McQueen plays the title role in this 1965 movie. He has just the one ambition and that is to become the best poker player in the world. This all leads to a showdown with Lancey โThe Manโ Howard, the current owner of that title. Thereโs plenty of cheating going on again but the final hand is a classic movie moment, will the Kidโs full house be enough to win?

Casablanca
Roulette is the casino game featured in this classic 1942 film. For once the casino owner is fixing the results to help his customers. A couple are desperate for money so they can escape to America. Rick (played by Humphrey Bogart) finds out about this and suggests the number 22 be used for the next two spins. Minutes later, the couple have the money they need.

ย Holy Rollers: The True Story of Card Counting Christiansย
When it comes to movies about blackjack, card counting continually crops up. This 2011 movie is based on the true story of a Christian group that learned card counting for winning at blackjack. With a poor view of the morals that casinos have, they didnโt feel guilty about how they won their money. They then used the cash to help others, but can they avoid detection and what happens when their luck runs out? Thatโs another side of gambling that the movies love to include.
