On June 9th, Arcade1Up confirmed The Simpsons cabinet along with a preorder release date of July 15th. Today, we received confirmation for 3 new cabinets. At first glance, some may say HEY! Didn’t they release these cabinets already? The answer is yes…and no. Yes in the fact that we have seen these headline titles on Arcade1Up cabinets but no in the fact that these 3 cabinets come with new features, cabinet enhancements, and 2 of the 3 are STACKED! with games.

As you can see, this cabinet has a whopping 12 games alongside some key features such as WIFI and a backlit marquee. I’m assuming all of the titles will support leaderboards and online matchmaking which will rekindle that competitive arcade vibe.

If you are into the home arcade scene, then you’ll know the hype that surrounded the release of Arcade1Up Ms. PAC-MAN last year. If you passed on it or were unable to find one in the wild, then THIS is the one to get. The cabinet is stacked with 12 classic arcade titles and includes all the new features we are seeing in their other cabinets.

Out of the 3 announced, this one feels more like an upgrade to the 2019 Arcade1Up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cabinet. There are no additional games but it does have the backlit marquee, WIFI, light up deck protector, and new cabinet artwork that includes the “insert coin buttons” painted on the kickplate. I own the 2019 version so this one is not on my purchase radar. However, if you missed out on that version this would be the one to get.
